NPA Reopens Investigations Into The Death Of Nelli Tembe
Just when we thought that things have finally settled down, investigations into Nelli Tembe‘s death has been reopened.
Its been 3 months since her death, but her tragic demise remains fresh in our minds.
The 22 year old, who was also known to be the fiancée of SA music star, AKA, allegedly jumped off the 10th floor of a hotel, on the 11th of April 2021. Though her death was stated to be suicide, many believe that there is more to it, especially after videos and pictures suggested that her relationship with her fiancé was not as cozy as we thought.
The issue died down after a while, the police even rapped up their investigations by 1th May, but the case has suddenly been reopened.
A new report by News24 reveals that the National Prosecution Authority (NPA) has reopened investigations into her death. The NPA has now referred back to the docket of Nelli’s passing to the police for further investigation.
According to them, they were led to believe that Nelli’s death might not be suicide after all as police investigations raised suspicions of murder.
