Genius ‘Ginimbi’ Kadungure, Zimbabwe’s famous socialite, died earlier this morning in a fatal motor accident in Harare along Borrowdale road.
Ginimbi was reported to be speeding when the accident occurred along a curve just before the Hatcliff suburb, happened.
The impact of the accident threw him out of the car, and the other occupants of the vehicle were reported to have been burnt beyond recognition, as the car caught fire after Ginimbi was thrown out.
The deceased was a businessman he was the founder and Chief Executive officer of Pioneer Gases. This gas industry has interests in his homeland of Zimbabwe, Bostwana, and even South Africa. Pioneer Gases, which is now a part of Piko Trading Group which he also owns. Pioneer Gases, supplies gases to commercial, public, industrial, and even retail sectors.
He was also the owner of Dreams Nightlife Club (formerly known as Club Sankayi).
Before his death, the deceased posted a video on his Instagram story, as he was going to a birthday party later that night from what was gathered from his video which said:
“Yo my name is Ginimbi, it’s time to go out. It’s gonna be going down tonight, we are going to dreams (his night club) in the next few minutes.
It’s gonna be going down, we are going to pop the champagne, it’s gonna be champagne showers tonight, see you there”.
He also added that he was “Driving a Rolls Royce Wraith” before he turned up his music and ended the video.
Speaking on Ginimbi’s death, exiled former minister Saviour Kasukuwere said “This is unbearable! A young man who worked hard and enjoyed hard is no more! The flower has wilted! Go well Boss Ginimbi”
The 36 years old before his death, owned a mansion in the near Urban settlement, and also a fleet of very expensive cars which included a Lamborghini, Rolls Royce, and Ferrari to mention a few.
