Also known as Kabza de small, Kabelo Motha Mahlangu is a popular South African Dj and record producer.
The artist was born on November 27, 1992, as a native of Mpumalanga but was raised and lived most of his childhood days in Pretoria.
The “King of Amapiano” (as he is popularly known) has been active in the South African music industry since 2009.
Kabelo Moths had already possessed the ability to create great beats at the very tender age of ten, and to date, he has birthed many great hits that have kept fans on the dance floor till the AMS.
Motha whose net worth is around eight million dollars is considered as one of the best-selling music Artists of Amapiano, and also one of the pioneers of the genre.
Though he has attained mastery in Amapiano, Kabelo also has his name engraved in gold when it comes to House music, although when he started his
career he was into so many genres that ranged from Afro-fused house to EDMs. With his breakthrough in 2018, he played an instrumental role in popularizing the Amapiano genre.
Kabza de small released his debut album In 2016, and he took the music industry by storm In November 2018
when he gained attention by releasing songs, “Amabele Shaya” and “Umshove”, respectively. The Amapiano master currently has a deal running with the “New money gang” record label.
The veteran musician added a feather to his cap by recently bagging the “favorite Dj” and the “favorite rising star” awards respectively
in the 2020 DSTV Mzansi viewer’s choice awards. Indeed the 27-year-old’s talent has seen him perform on stages both locally and internationally.
He has also had the opportunity to perform at some of South Africa’s prestigious events like the South African Music Awards, and has made appearances on TV shows on SABC, Channel O, and Mzansi magic.
Undoubtedly, the young star has a bright future ahead of him in the music industry.
